Cancellation and refund policy
The short version. Start free for 14 days with no card. Cancel anytime from inside the product, with no cancellation fee. Your plan then runs to the end of the period you have already paid for.
1. Free trial
Every plan starts with a free trial of 14 days and needs no credit card. If you do not move to a paid plan when the trial ends, your access to paid features simply stops. Nothing is charged, so there is nothing to refund.
2. How to cancel
You can cancel at any time from your account settings inside RecruiterDesk. If you cannot reach the setting or need help, email support@recruiterdesk.io and we will action it for you. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, so you keep access to everything you have paid for until then.
3. What happens to your billing
- Individual plan. When you cancel, your plan is not renewed for the next period. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Team plan. Team members are billed per active member, per day. When you remove a member or cancel, you are charged only for the days members were active in the period, so there is nothing to reconcile by hand.
4. Refunds
Our plans are billed in advance and are, as a rule, non-refundable, because you can try RecruiterDesk in full for 14 days before you pay anything, and you can cancel at any time to avoid the next charge. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for the unused part of a period after you cancel.
We will, however, look at a refund in good faith where:
- you were charged in error, or charged twice for the same period;
- a technical fault on our side prevented you from using the Service for a meaningful part of a paid period, and we could not resolve it; or
- a refund is required under applicable Indian law.
To request one, email support@recruiterdesk.io within 7 days of the charge, with your account email and what went wrong.
5. How an approved refund is paid
Where we approve a refund, it is made to the original payment method through our payment processor. Refunds are usually initiated within 5 to 7 working days of approval; how long the amount takes to reach you after that depends on your bank or card issuer. Any GST charged on a refunded amount is handled as the law requires.
6. Pricing and GST
Prices are ₹499 per month for an individual and ₹399 per active member per month for teams, exclusive of GST. GST is added as required, and GST-registered customers can claim input tax credit. Full details are on our pricing page.
7. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first so we can put it right quickly. Raising a chargeback with your bank before contacting us can suspend your account while the dispute is investigated.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make a material change, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you directly.
